Three Timing is based on David Ives’ All in the Timing. 3 comedy/satirical one acts exploring human existence and subjective experience of thinking, feeling, and acting.  After watching these we get a feeling of 3 reasonable acts played in an absurd world. 3 simple setups – a cafe, a coaching center and a lab to explore some lovable characters who tickle your funny bone to stimulate an afterthought. 3 Acts of 15 to 20 min each respectively. Each play will have a 5 min break . during the break people can order and a musical performance during the break. Total duration 1 hour 15 min.

1. Hoshiyarpur: At a restaurant, a lady is informed by a friend that her frustratingly unlucky day is the result of his ensnarement in an anomalous pocket of reality, called a “Hoshiarpur” in which he will only be fulfilled by asking for the opposites of what she wants. By the end, the lady begins to feel content at last, only for her friend to be pulled also into the Hoshiarpur, while the waiter groans of his own entanglement in a “Gurgaon/Delhi.

      2. Sure Thing: Two people meet in a cafe and find their way through a conversational minefield as an offstage bell interrupts their false starts, gaffes, and faux pas on the way to falling in love.

     3. Unamunda: This act brings together Drishti, a young woman with a stutter, and Divy, the creator and teacher of Unamunda, a wild comic language. Their lesson sends them off into a dazzling display of hysterical verbal pyrotechnics—and, of course, true love..
